DANGER

Danger from delay in shutdown

Accidents or severe injuries as well as property damages
•

Shutdown or STO activation always only refers to the selected axis! The other axes
can still be active (depending on the parameterization).

•

Note that triggering or activation can be delayed via parameter settings.

•

After the STO function switches off the voltage, there is a physical delay until the axis
finally comes to a standstill. This depends on the components used and their mass
and friction ratios.

•

Note that other moving parts in the vicinity may have to be switched off separately.
