even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the
operational safety of the appliance.
∙
The power cord should be regularly examined for any signs
of damage. In the event of such damage being found, the
appliance must no longer be used.
∙
Do not open the hot-water/steam nozzle unless a suitable
container is placed underneath.
Caution:
there is a danger
of scalding from hot steam being emitted.
∙
Always keep your hands well away from the outlet openings
(boiler outlet,
fi
lter sieve holder, steam nozzle) during
operation:
danger of scalding
.
∙
The power cord must be kept well away from hot parts of the
appliance.
∙
Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Do not
position the appliance on or near hot surfaces, open
fl
ames
or in
fl

∙
Always remove the plug from the wall socket
-
in case of any malfunction,
-
after use, and also
-
before cleaning the appliance.
∙
When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on
the power cord; always grip the plug itself.
∙
Before inserting the plug into a suitable wall outlet, ensure
that
- all accessory parts have been correctly
fi

- the appliance has been
fi

- the rotary control is set to its neutral position ( ).
∙
Do not use the appliance outdoors; protect it from zero or

No responsibility is accepted if damage results from
improper use, or if these instructions are not complied with.

When dispensing steam, the symbol lights up.
Inserting/removing the
fi

∙
The
fi
