manual reversed phase
control or
manual phase control
.
To select one of the three operating modes (automatic, manual
reversed phase control or manual phase control), you proceed as
follows:
- Press the programming key for 2s. The dimmer is now in pro-
gramming status, in section ‘mode’.
- Briefl y press the select key to select the next operating mode.
The selection of one of the different operating modes is indicated
by the associated ‘mode’ LEDs (see following diagram).
In
programming status
, the ‘mode’ LEDs can indicate the following:
LED Status
Meaning
100...1400VA
100...1400VA
100...1400W
Upper LED blinks.
Selection of: ‘manual reversed
phase control’
(suitable for capacitive, resistive and
mixed loads)
100...1400VA
100...1400VA
100...1400W
Lower LED blinks.
Selection of: ‘manual phase control’
(suitable for inductive loads)
100...1400VA
100...1400VA
100...1400W
Both LEDs blink.
Selection of: ‘automatic’
To save the settings and exit the programming status: press the
‘programming’ key >2s. For other settings, see point B.
B. Selection of operating mode ‘input’
In programming status, briefl y press the ‘programming’ key to move
from the ‘mode’ section to the ‘input’ section. The ‘input’ section is
used to select the mode of operation. To select one of the 4 modes
of operation, you proceed as follows (see also the following diagram):
- Go to the ‘input’ section of the programming status: LED ‘input’ blinks.
- Briefl y press the ‘select’ key to select the next mode of operation.
The selection of one of the different modes of operation is indi-
cated by the associated ‘input’ LEDs (see following diagram).

To save the settings and exit the programming status: press the
‘programming’ key > 2s. For other settings, see point C.
C. Setting minimum ‘min’
To move from ‘input’ to ‘min’ in programming status, briefl y press
the ‘programming’ key.
The section ‘min’ is used to set the minimum dim intensity. The
minimum dim intensity can adopt any value between 1% and 40%.
To set the minimum dim intensity, you proceed as follows (see
following diagram):
- Go to the section ‘min’ of the programming status: LED ‘min’
blinks.
- Use the ‘select’ key or the connected push button to set the
desired minimum intensity. Keep the key pressed to dim up to
40% or down to 1%. To reverse the dim direction, release and
immediately press the key again. When the desired intensity has
been reached, release the ‘select’ key or the ‘control’ key.

D. Setting maximum ‘max’
To move from ‘min’ to ‘max’ in programming status, briefl y press
the ‘programming’ key.
The section ‘max’ is used to set the maximum dim intensity. The
maximum dim intensity can adopt any value between 60% and 100%.
To set the maximum dim intensity, proceed as follows (see
following diagram):
- Go to the section ‘max’ of the programming status: LED ‘max’
blinks.
- Use the ‘select’ key or the connected push button to set the
desired maximum intensity. Keep the key pressed to dim up to
100% or down to 60%. To reverse the dim direction, release and
immediately press the key again. When the desired intensity has
been reached, release the ‘select’ key or the ‘control’ key.

Function
A. Operation in the different modes
Mode 1: 0-10V analogue control
Operation input 1 (terminals 3 - 4), see
Fig. 2
:
When this mode is selected, the dimmer will accept a voltage con-
trol signal from 0 to 10V according to the IEC standard 61131-2.
From 0 to 10V the light can be adjusted from 1% to maximum
light intensity.
If the input voltage lies below the threshold voltage (+ 1V) the con-
nected load will not be activated.
If the input voltage is equal to the threshold voltage, the con-
