The LISST-25X contains a laser diode emitting a maximum of
5 mW of visible (red) light at a wavelength of 670nm. The
laser beam under normal circumstances is not a threat.
However, if objects are placed in the path of the laser beam,
the light could be reflected into the eye causing permanent
damage.
