Creating the site map

FiberPatrol FP1150 Product Guide

Page 101

Select each segment and enter the average optical Start and End locations from the Location/
calibration table.

Save the Project file.

Select the Area of Interest (AOI)

Zoom out so that the AOI encompasses the entire site and rotate the image to obtain the
desired display.

Select the AOI tool. Select the AOI by left-clicking the upper left corner, then moving the cursor
diagonally across the map and left-clicking the bottom right corner. Keep the AOI aspect ratio
as close to 5:2, and as centered as possible.

Select the Extract AOI button.

Note

To use the alarm zones as created in the IDS Map Manager, proceed to

Select the Area of Interest (AOI) on page 101
