Select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then click “Properties”

Select the “Alternate Configuration” tab. Click “User configured”. Ask your IT Administrator
for an IP address that is not being used that you can leave as an alternate setting on your PC.
Enter the address in the IP Address and then enter the Subnet mask as shown below. Click “Ok”
twice. Disconnect the crossover cable and reconnect.

Wait one minute as the two devices negotiate the connection

Open a web browser and type in the BBS IP address

The BBS page should load. If not, check with your IT Administrator.
