SERVER FUNCTION VIA ETHERNET PORT
A server service can be enabled via Ethernet port between:
Web server
FTP server
Modbus TCP-IP server
28.1.
LOCAL CONNECTION TO THE ETHERNET
PORT
To connect a peripheral via Ethernet to Z-GPRS2 or Z-Logger, both must have a compatible IP address.
If the connection is made on web server and the browser uses a proxy server, it is best to disable-it:
For example, if the Z-GPRS2 / Z-Logger IP address is 192.168.90.101 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 the
other peripheral must have an IP address that starts with 192.168.90, thus, for example, 92.168.90.102 is
correct.
The installed Ethernet supports auto-switching mode. Two peripherals can be connected point-to-point
without the need of a router or Ethernet switch.
28.2.
