Insert bolts and hand tighten them.

Align the hopper. Before tightening the bolts further, ensure the drawer can close all the
way, as the fit is very tight.

Tighten the bolts.

Fully close the drawer, ensuring the transition slides into the elbow. You may need to remove the
rear panel to ensure the correct fit.
5.
Secure the four latches (Figure 56, page 43) that hold the mid-hopper adapter to the bottom of
Stage 1.

Start with the back latches. Hold up the mid-hopper adapter with one hand and latch the
other side of the latch with the other hand, locking it in place.

Repeat this with the other side latch.
f.
After you secure the back latches, repeat the process on the front latches.
6.
Replace the two painted bolts in the sides of the cutting chamber drawer. See Figure 55, page 42,
for the location of these bolts.
NOTE:
Never operate the unit without these bolts in place.
Air System Fault
When the Air System Fault indicator on the electrical panel illuminates, it automatically places the
disintegrator into a timed shutdown. This is done to avoid system issues when the bag inside the vacuum fan
system is full; however, this indicator illuminating may also indicate that other issues have reduced the
airflow. If the Air System Fault indicator illuminates for a few seconds and then goes out, this means that
one of the sensors is intermittently seeing a fault situation.
Wait for the disintegrator to fully shut down. Then, follow these steps:
