Problem Possible cause Suggestion
White, powdery deposits
appear in the water
chamber. Traces of scale from the
tap water. Rub the traces with a sponge and mild detergent.
Soak the water chamber in a solution of 1 part white
vinegar to 9 parts water as described under
“Cleaning and Maintenance”, on page 31. Rinse well
with tap water. Dry the exterior with a clean cloth.

MASK UNPLUGGED is
displayed on the screen.
The mask is disconnected. Check the connections between the mask, the
patient circuit, and the device. This message
disappears when you breathe in your mask well
reconnected or when the On/Off button or
the ramp button is pressed. Otherwise, the
device will stop after 30 minutes.
LEAK : ++ (or +++ or ++++ )
is displayed on the
screen.
The device detects a high
level of leak. Adjust your mask, mask cushion and/or harness
until you have a good mask-fit. The leak level must
decrease until the screen displays
LEAK : OK .
If the error persists, contact your home care
provider.
The symbol
blinks alternately with the
error code at the center
of the display.
The device has detected
an operating error.
Unplug the device from all sources of electrical
power. Plug it in again and turn on.
