System settings

System settings

6.1

Introduction

In the Settings menu, various basic settings can be defined that are necessary for the
functioning of the HL 7000 system. It also provides options to customise individual menu
views and information about current device status.

To get to the system settings from the Start menu:

The Settings menu lists all adjustable parameters.

Within the individual buttons, you can see what is currently set at the bottom right.

Use the two cursor keys on the right edge of the screen to scroll through the available
parameters.

To change a parameter, tap on its button in the list.

A new menu opens in which the desired settings can be defined.

6.2

Overview of the adjustable parameters

The following parameters are listed in the system settings:

Language

Here you can change the language of the user interface.

Time

Here you can set the internal time of the device.

If you set the green button to

GPS

, the time is synchronised with the GPS time as soon

as GPS reception is available.

If you set the button to

Manual

, you can set the time yourself with the cursor keys at the

bottom of the screen.

The

button applies the new setting.
