d) In the next wizard screen, your USB hard drive is
identified as a
Freecom Cable USB
, and the driver
file is identified as
FCCABLE.INF
. Click on the Next
button. At this point the driver files are copied to
your internal hard drive.
e) After the drivers have been copied, you will see the
message, “Windows has finished installing the
software that your new hardware device requires.”
Click on the Finish button.
f)
As the wizard finishes, “New Hardware Found”
screens may appear temporarily, as other USB-
related drivers are identified on your system.
After you have installed the appropriate Windows driver,
your DiskStor USB hard drive is ready to use! If you have
difficulties with the installation, try the troubleshooting
tips on page 14.
