Remember, use about one (1) gallon of weak
bleach solution for each fifteen (15) gallons of
tank capacity.
5. Fill the remainder of the tank with fresh, clean
water. This will further dilute the weak bleach
solution.
6. Switch ON the water system switch, then turn
on the faucets and allow the air to be exhausted
from the plumbing system. By doing this, the
entire fresh water system will be filled with a
sanitizing solution.
7. Allow the sanitizing solution to stand in the water
system for three (3) hours.
8. Pump the water tank empty.
9. Fill the water system completely with fresh, clean
water. Turn on the faucet and permit the entire
contents of fresh, clean water to run through
the system. This will flush the sanitizing solution
out of the plumbing.
10. Fill the water system again, with fresh, clean
water, and turn on the faucet to permit the air to
dissapate.
Your water system is now sanitized.
