9. Firmware Update

SC38.MX16 boasts a USB port for online firmware upgrade on the front panel. Follow
these steps to upgrade firmware:

Step 1.

Copy the upgrade software and the latest upgrade file (.bin) to PC.

Step 2.

Connect the USB ports of SC38.MX16 and the PC via USB cable.

Step 3.

Send the command “

Firmware[x].

” to select the upgrade item, for example,

send “

Firmware04.

”.

Command

Description

Firmware[x].

X=01, update the input card firmware.
X=02, update the output card firmware (9~16).
X=03, update the output card firmware (1~8).
X=04, update the front panel firmware.

Step 4.

Double-click the update software icon (see as

It will enter the upgrade interface shown as below:

Step 5.

Click

Connect USB

Step 6.

Click

Open

to load the front panel upgrade file, then click

Updata

start firmware upgrading.

NOTE:

To ensure available control, the COM number of the PC should be 1~9.
