Adding or Deleting Multicast IP Addresses
Multicast IP addresses can be added to the receiver setup to allow communication with
other downstream devices. Presetting the receiver to communicate with other equipment
allows the receiver to output IP data for various applications, such as file transfer or
streaming video.
To add multicast IP addresses...
Go
to
IP Multicast Address
and press
OK
to display the Multi-
cast IP Setup sub-menu.
Select
Add
.
A pop-up window is displayed.
Enter a Fixed Multicast IP address using the numerical keys, and
then press
OK
.
If an invalid number is entered, the message “Input value out of
range” is displayed. Once you enter a valid number, you can con-
tinue adding multicast IP addresses for other devices.
Note: Dynamic Multicast IP addresses are communicated to the re-
ceiver from the network device(s), and are read-only.
To delete multicast IP addresses…
On
the
Multicast IP Setup
sub-menu,
select
Delete
.
A pop-up window is displayed showing the first IP address in the
list. Scroll through the IP addresses using the
/
arrow buttons
until you find the IP address(es) you want to delete.
Delete the unwanted IP address(es).
