The protection of health and life is always
the highest priority.

5.2  FUNDAMENTAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

FOR THE RADIO CONTROL SYSTEM

–  It  is  absolute  necessary  to  read the  present

instruction manual completely before putting
the radio control system into operation.

You MUST have fully understood the instruc-
tion  manual  in  all  its  aspects  before  putting
the radio control system into operation.

–  Observe  all  occupational  safety  and  health

prescriptions and all accident prevention regu-
lations concerning your work.

–  As  far  as  the  operation  of  the  machine  is

concerned  the  pertaining  instruction  manual
of the machine is alone applicable.

–  The  radio  control  system  may  only  be  used

for  working by duly authorized persons after
instruction by a specialist.

This  applies  also  to  the  alternative  cable
remote-control system.

–  During the work, you must always have a full

view of the machine and the working zone.

–  Never lay the radio control transmitter aside

while it is ready for operation. Always protect
the transmitter against unauthorized use (by
switching it off and by locking it away).

–  Check all safety-related functions before each

start-up.

Do not put the system into operation if it does
not work properly.

Do  not  continue  to  use  the  system  if  mal-
functions occur while the system is in opera-
tion.

Report  all  malfunctions  to  your  immediate
superior.

–  The  radio  control  system  may  only  be  used

in conformity with its designated use, i.e. for
controlling  a

SCHWING

  truck-mounted  con-

crete pump equipped for this purpose.

Any other use is forbidden.

–  Any use not in conformity with its designated

use, faulty operation, inadequate maintenance
and non-authorized repair of the system can
cause  serious  property  damage  and  perso-
nal injury.

–  In  case  of  malfunctions  or  faults  press

the red EMERGENCY STOP button imme-
diately. Switch off the transmitter and keep
it in a safe place.

–  Repairs of the radio control system may only

be  made  by  the  manufacturer  himself  or  by
qualified  personnel  duly  authorized  by  the
manufacturer.
