7-1.
MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONAL CHECK REQUIRE-
MENTS AND PRECAUTIONS
All maintenance on the helicopter is to be accomplished in
compliance with the following requirements and precautions:
Instructions in Schweizer 330 HMI.
All maintenance and operational checks that require operation
of the helicopter must be performed in accordance with require-
ments and limitations specified in the Pilot’s Flight Manual and
any applicable Optional Equipment Supplements.
Operational checks.
After performance of maintenance or modification, the affected
parts are to be inspected for discrepancies and an operational
check is to be performed.
CAUTIONS and WARNINGS.
Caution and warning statements throughout the HMI and this
manual are provided to promote safe maintenance of the heli-
copter.
General Information -Inspections.
All inspections include visual inspection of the specified system
equipment or component for cracks, corrosion, distortion, secu-
rity, or any other obvious defects or damage.
Inspections for fuel and oil systems, equipment, or components
containing or using fuel or oil include checks for leakage, dis-
tortion, and clogging; including hoses, lines, tubing, and fit-
tings, as applicable.
