6 Troubleshooting
Only suitably knowledgeable, qualified
professional technicians may perform repairs on
the machine.
Malfunction Cause Rectification
Machine will not start. The voltage supply has not been
properly connected.
Join the connecting cable (extension
cable) with a regular power socket
and plug the connecting cable’s coup­
ling into the power plug [4, Fig. A].
The safety peg is not inserted in
safety switch.
Insert the safety peg [20, Fig. B] in
the safety switch.
The safety switch is defective. Replace the safety switch [21, Fig. B].
The connecting cable is defective. Replace the connecting cable.
The grinding pattern is un­
even.
Tools are loose. Fasten tools.
Tools are damaged or worn. Replace tools.
The machine shuts down
automatically.
An error code is lit on the
power display [22, Fig. C].
The machine is overloaded.
The drive overload protection has trig­
gered.
— Only with speed control:
If necessary, reduce the speed
with the speed regulator
[17, Fig. B].
— Select other tools if needed

— Reset:
a.
Hold the machine by the
guide handle [1, Fig. A].
b. Press
RESET button

The machine starts.
If the machine does not start:
a. Disconnect the power plug
[4, Fig. A] from the mains.
b. Please contact the manu­
facturer.
The connecting cable (extension ca­
ble) is too long.
Observe the minimum cross section
and the maximum length of the
connecting cable (extension cable)
