IP-Classification
The device is classified IP 32 . This means protection against intrusion of dripping water when the enclosure is
tilted at an angle up to 15° from its normal position and protection against intrusion of solid bodies greater than
or equal 2,5 mm.
Bringing into service
Visually inspect the unit for any damage. Report any detected damages to your dealer. Make sure the power
supply specifications are 230 V~ / 50 Hz.

Timer operation

To set the exposure time in minutes, press the MIN key, for seconds, press the SEC key until the
desired exposure time is set.

Pressing the Start/Stop key initiates the preset time. The audible signal indicating the end of the preset
time can be switched off by pressing Start/Stop key. The previously set time then reappears on the
display.

To interrupt exposure before the preset time has expired, press the Start/Stop key.

To delete the preset time, press the MIN and SEC keys.
Exposure:

Before beginning treatment, put a glove on the hand with which you will hold the unit and always wear the
included UV protection glasses.

Set the timer for the exposure time recommended by your dermatologist for your skin type and start the
timer. Press the toggle switch on the unit to switch the unit on.

Move the unit slowly across the area of skin to be exposed, making sure to cover the entire area uniformly.

An audible signal from the timer will sound once the exposure time has run out.

Switch the unit off.
Always consult your physician prior to beginning a series of exposures.
Do not extend treatment unnecessarily and only irradiate yourself once every day.
