Keeping and storing at temperatures < +5 °C have to be avoided.
The surfaces have to be clean.
Clean with a dry textile cloth.
Persistant soiling of the sphere electrode and the insulating cone have to be
removed with iso-propanol and a textile cloth. (Caution: highly flammable!)
Protect sphere electrode from scratching. Damages at the sphere bring up
incorrect measuring, exchange sphere if necessary.
Battery check:
The battery charge will be indicated, exchange batteries if necessary.
Unscrew locking cap and insert new batteries according to indication of
polarity. Device is guarded against crossed polarity.
Calibration:
Depending on the frequency of its use the device has to be sent to the
producer to be checked and calibrated now and again - at least after 2 years.
