Uesing the Manual Coulombmeter
The Manual Coulombmeter has to be used only when grounded! The
enclosed grounding cable has to be mounted to the POAG-jack and to be
connected to ground. The cable should be without loops (to avoid self-
induction).
Measuring
o
I-flip to the left switches on the device.
o
Approach the sphere-electrode of the device to the item under test
until display changes from “waitnC“ until a measuring value is
indicated.
o
Withdraw device and read measuring value.
o
If
appears measuring was successful.
o
If
is indicated the zero-point has shifted. The result is only
partially valid.
o
In case
or
is indicated, the measuring range is exceeded.
The actual value is higher than the indicated one and the measuring
has to be discarded.
o
In case »stop control« is active the seconds counter runs when
releasing the »reset button« and stops when a measuring value is
indicated. Display shows time in seconds.
o
After measuring the indicated value can be deleted (R-flip to the right)
or stored in memory (R-flip to the left). Thereafter,
“waitnC“ appears in
the display showing that measuring may start again.
o
If no measuring takes place, after about 15 min. the Manual
Coulombmeter switches off automatically to save battery.
