Decommissioning and
disposal
In order to prevent environmental contamination, disposal of
GreaseCheck must be carried out in accordance with the directives of
the relevant country of use.
Do not dispose of either GreaseCheck or associated components
with household waste, since they contain electronic components
that must be disposed of in accordance with the applicable
regulations.
Components of GreaseCheck that are defective and cannot be
repaired must be disposed of by environmentally acceptable
methods.
All materials used (plastics, metals, electronic subassemblies)
must be fed separately to recycling facilities.
Any used GreaseCheck and grease-soaked materials must be
disposed of by environmentally acceptable methods.
Electronic devices must be disposed of in accordance with
the relevant regulations.
If problems occur in relation to disposal in accordance with
legislation and environmentally acceptable methods, the Grease-
Check can be returned to Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG.
By carrying out correct disposal, you are making a valuable
contribution to protecting the environment.
