3.2. Information in the top menu bar
General information can be found in the top
menu bar (Figure 18). This information is
displayed continuously to the user, regardless
of the menu that is selected.
1. Name of the selected field
2. Signal strength of GeoConnect 3G: if
a correction signal is used on a GSM
network, the signal strengths and GSM
connection types are displayed here:
yellow/orange boxes = 2G connection;
green = 3G connection. If a Slingshot
modem is used the signal strength and
connection type cannot be seen on the
terminal and this information is only
available on the Slingshot portal.
3. Internet connection:
Blue symbol = internet access
Grey symbol = no internet access
4. Diff. Age: age of the last correction
message (seconds).
5. LED indicator bar: displays the position
with respect to the reference lines. The
scale of the LED’s can be changed by
touching the LED strip.
6. Speed
7. Operating surface: this surface area is
linked to the loaded field.
8. Display forwards/backwards: if the
driving direction displayed deviates from
the actual driving direction, this can be
changed by tapping on the symbol.
9. Number of tracks
10. Distance to headland line
11. Deviation from reference line
12. Indication of GPS signal strength:
no GPS signal
GPS signal without corrections
GPS EGNOS
RTK-Float
RTK-Fix
13. GPS time
14. Status of crop registration:
if the crop
registration is activated a diskette symbol
will blink at position 13. A pause symbol
will blink when the crop registration is
interrupted. If no crop registration is
used, this position is blank.
