Energy source
For correct functioning, the battery-powered lifting magnet requires sufficient power supply which is ensured by the
recommended fgFORTE Deep Cycle AGM 12 V DC battery:
■
The battery FG12-35D – 35 Ah is used for the type BM 1350.
■
The battery FG12-75D – 75 Ah is used for other battery-powered lifting magnet types.
The hand-held remote control is powered by a 9 V battery.
3.3
Standard ambient conditions for operation
The lifting magnets are designed for operation in outdoor and indoor environments, provided that the following
parameters are complied with: Max. humidity 80 %, air temperature between 0 and 50 °C.
DANGER!
Hazard from wrong ambient conditions!
Operating the lifting magnet in the wrong ambient conditions can cause
fire, explosion or malfunction of the lifting magnet, in particular falling of the
magnet, and as a consequence severe injuries including death.
■
Do not operate the lifting magnet in the rain, in an area with a risk of fire
or explosion or in an area with vapours, smoke or dust with corrosive or
abrasive impact!
For operation under deviating ambient conditions, custom versions of the lifting magnets can be offered by the
manufacturer on request.
