8.6 “Pure” Version: Perform Depressurization
The device is pressurized during operation. If the device is taken out of
operation for an extended period or permanently, the pressure in the device
must be released.
Procedure
t
Press the [Depressurize] menu item in the “Care” menu.

The “Remove filter” dialog box is displayed.
t
Remove final filter (see Chapter 8.4.1, page 59).
t
Confirm the removal of the final filter with the [OK] button.
t
Remove the inlet water tube of this device from the Arium
®
Bagtank.
t
Put the tube into a sufficiently large vessel (1 L).

The “Prepare depress” dialog box is displayed.
t
Place a vessel (at least 1 liter) under the water outlet. Alternatively,
connect the dispense tube and run the free end to the drain.
t
Confirm this preparatory step with the [OK] button.

The “Start depressurization” dialog box is displayed.
t
Press the [START] button.
y
The “Depressurization” dialog box is displayed.
y
The device depressurizes. The process takes about half a minute.
t
To cancel the depressurization process before it is finished, e.g., if there is
not a sufficiently large vessel available: Press the [Cancel] button.

The “Start depressurization” dialog box is displayed again.
t
Carry out depressurization as described above again.
Remove filter
Remove the final filter.

Removing the Tube
Remove the inlet water tube of this device
from the Bagtank and direct the tube in a
suitable large vessel (1l).

Prepare for
depressurization
Place a suitable large vessel (1 L) under
the water dispensing unit of this device.

Release system

Start the depressurization with “Start”.
