Since you will not be able to remove the servo
arm or the control horn to mount the control rod
you will have to use a control rod with a
removal mechanism on one end. This could be a
threaded clevis, a linkage stopper or as seen in
the picture below a simple E/Z Link.
Use a control rod with a removal mechanism; here
we used one with an E/Z Link on the end

Measure the desired length of the control rod
and bend it to shape.
Completed rudder modification

Install the control rod and test the motion of the
servo and of the rudder.
