Dialing From the Contacts Directory
To dial directly from a Contacts entry:
1.
Select
> Contacts > Find/Add Entry
.
2.
Select the entry you want to call and press
or
to dial the
number listed at the top of the entry.

To dial another number from the entry, select the name and
press
, highlight the number you wish to call, and press
or
.
Tip:
You can also place a call by pressing
Options
(right softkey) >
Call
or
Call:Speaker On
.
Note:
The icons next to each entry represent the labels (for example, Mobile,
Home, Work, etc.) for the entry’s default number. A triangle next to the label
means there is another number for the entry, also represented by a label. Press
the navigation key right or left between labels to select the desired number.
Using Speed Dialing
You can store up to eight numbers in your phone’s speed dial memory to
make contacting friends and family as easy as pressing a button. With this
feature, you can dial your favourite entries using one key press for
locations 2-9. (See “Assigning Speed Dial Numbers” on page 70.)
To use speed dial for voice calls:

From standby mode, press and hold the appropriate key for
approximately two seconds.

From standby mode, press the appropriate key and

.
The display confirms that the number is being dialed when it shows
“Connecting...”.
