Using your PC to charge the battery

You can connect the unit to your PC to charge the lithium-ion battery (supplied).

Connecting to your PC

Connect the unit to your PC.

Make sure the screen indicates the unit is connected to
your PC.

The LED light comes on and charging starts.

• While the battery is being charged, the battery

indicator on the screen changes as shown in the
illustration.

• During the operation, if you want to stop charging,

disconnect the unit from your PC.

Disconnecting your PC (page 158)

• When charging is ﬁnished, the LED light goes off.
• Charging takes about 150 minutes.
* The charging time is an approximate ﬁgure based

on a completely discharged battery. It will vary,
depending on the remaining battery power, ambient
temperature, etc.
