Regarding the Built-In Memory
1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes : The actual formatted
capacity of the internal memory may be less than the total
stated size, as the internal firmware uses a portion of the
memory.
- If you purchase a player with 8 GB of internal memory,
about 2 GB will be used for running systems and storing
applications, so the space available for storing contents
and other files will be around 6 GB.
