DC/DC BLOCK produces and provides stable power to the each Block from 7.4V Battery power or 8.4V
power adapter. DC/DC BLOCK controls a total of 7 kinds of voltage: 2.5V drive (CH1), 5V drive (CH4), 1.2V
drive (CH2), 3V drive (CH3), Capstan, Drum motor drive (CH8, 9), 15V, and -7.5V drive (CH7).
PMC Control IC consists of these 7CH’s. Each CH of IC works when “H” is inputted to CTL-1(35pin) and
CTL-2~4. If “L” is inputted to CTL-1, and “H” is inputted to CTL-2~4, IC does not operate. IC only works
when CTL-1 becomes “H” and the rest of the CTL’s also become “H”.
