Changing the Greeting
The text greeting can be up to 14 characters and is displayed on your phone’s Main
Screen in standby mode. You can choose to display a custom greeting or display
your User Name on the phone’s screen.
To display or change your custom greeting:
1. Press for Menu .
2. Press for Settings .
3. Press for Display .
4. Press for Main Screen .
5. Press for Foreground .
6. Press for Greeting .
7. Select Custom using the navigation key and press .
8. Press and hold to clear the existing greeting.
9. Use the keypad to enter a new custom greeting. (See "Entering Text" on
page 18.)
10. Press the left softkey for Save .
Changing the Outer Screen
Your new phone offers options for what you see on the outer display screen.
To change the Screen Saver:
1. Press for Menu .
2. Press for Settings .
3. Press for Display .
