Incoming
(MENU 2-2-1)
Your phone can receive voice mail and text
messages. When the phone receives a message, an
alert sounds, and a text notification displays along
with the New Message icon (
). The icon remains
on the display until you read the text messages or
listen to the voice messages.
Your phone receives incoming messages in both
Standby mode and Talk mode. Messages can be
received when the phone is locked, but you cannot
access them. To review messages, you must unlock
the phone.
When the memory is full and a new message comes
in, the phone automatically erases the messages in
the Incoming box from the oldest to receive the
new one. If all of the messages are protected or not
reviewed, the phone rejects new messages.
