Precautions
Cautions on using 5GHz devices
The terminal can use 3 frequency bands of 5.2 GHz band (W52), 5.3
GHz band (W53), 5.6 GHz band (W56).
• 5.2 GHz band (W52/36, 40, 44, 48ch)
• 5.3GHz band (W53/52, 56, 60, 64ch)
• 5.6 GHz band (W56/100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132,
136, 140, 144ch)
Using the 5.2 GHz band/5.3 GHz band wireless LAN outdoors is
prohibited by Law (except when communicating with access point of 5.2
GHz high-output data communication system or relay station).
FeliCa and NFC reader/writer precautions
■ FeliCa and NFC reader/writer, P2P function of the terminal uses
weak waves requiring no licenses for radio stations.
■ It uses 13.56 MHz frequency band. When someone uses other
FeliCa and NFC reader/writer, P2P function in your surroundings,
keep the terminal away sufficiently from them.
Before using the reader/ writer, confirm that there are no radio
stations using the same frequency band nearby.
■ For use in an aircraft, contact the airline beforehand. In some
countries, use may be restricted.
Confirm regulations etc. for the country/area before using.
Samples (SIM ejector tool) precautions
■ Do not apply excessive force to the SIM ejection tool when using
it.
May cause malfunction or damage.
■ Do not insert the SIM ejector tool into any hole other than the
docomo nanoUIM card/microSD card tray eject hole.
May cause malfunction or damage.
■ When disposing of it, follow the rules regarding disposal in your
area.
■ Do not use the SIM ejector tool with other mobile devices.
May cause malfunction or damage to the terminal.
NOTE
■ Do not deform the terminal. Using an altered device is a violation
of the Radio Law/Telecommunications Business Act.
The terminal is compliant with rules on the technical standard
conformance of specified wireless equipment based on the Radio Law/
Telecommunications Business Act. As proof of this, the "Technical
Compliance Mark " is depicted in the electronic faceplate. The
electronic faceplate can be confirmed by operating this terminal as
follows.
From the Home screen, → "Settings" → "About phone" → "Regulatory
information"
If you remove the screws and alter the inside of the terminal, the
technical regulations compliance certification becomes invalid. Do not
use the terminal with the certification invalid, as it is a violation of the
Radio Law and Telecommunications Business Act.
■ Be careful when using the terminal while driving.
Except for situations which are stipulated as per laws and regulations,
the looking at the terminal's screen, or the holding of the terminal in
one's hands and conversing while driving shall be subject to penalty.
■ FeliCa and NFC reader/writer function of the terminal complies
with the wireless standards in Japan.
When using overseas, confirm in advance the stipulations of the
laws and regulations of the nation/region.
■ Do not modify the basic software illegally.
It may be regarded as modifications and repair may be refused.
