Preparing the plow for operation 

 

ATTENTION: 
During  storing  of  the  machines  in  company  SaMASZ  the  cylinders  are 
protected by special grease in order to secure them against weather which may 
cause their premature  wear. Before starting the operation excess grease should 
be removed from the cylinders. 

 

After  correctly  mounting  the  plow  on  the  tractor  it  should  be  inspected  and  it  should  be 

determined  if  the  plow  has  worn  blade  inserts,  bumpers  or  loose  bolts.  If  necessary  replace  worn 
elements and tighten the bolts. If the plow is ready for use it should be placed in the desired position 
and  plowing  can  be  started.  Fig.  16  and  Fig.  17  presents  basic  operating  positions  of  the  plow. 
While working on public roads turn on the marker lights.
