Attach the hitching frame (

) to the TPH lower link arms on the tractor and secure with the
retaining pins (

). Secure the retaining pins in place with the spring cotters (

). Follow by attaching the
top link (

) and secure the top link with the retaining pins (
5
) and the spring cotters (
3
) (
CAUTION! Remove the safety pin (6) before hitching the machine!

Installation of a Cat. II hitching frame
With the hitching frame attached and secured to the TPH, approach the mower rear in
perpendicular. Operate the top link to set the hitching frame in parallel to the mower’s hitching frame.
Lift the TPH so that the mower is clear off the ground and the hitching frame is fully engaged. Secure
the hitching frame with the retaining pin. Secure the retaining pin with the spring cotter. Adjust the
length of the chains and install the load floating springs. Secure the shackle bolts against detachment.

Install the PIC. The PIC end with the friction clutch
must be coupled to the mower.
Lift the mower on the TPH to the maximum height
and install the load floating springs so that when the
mower is lowered level with the tractor, each spring
is tensioned from 47 cm to approximately 56 cm of
length.
It is recommended that each spring is within an
imaginary rectangle of 75x45 cm.
Secure the hitching frame
with the retaining pin.
Secure the retaining pin
with the spring cotter.
Tilt the mower to the required cutting
height and secure the top link against
detachment.
