ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION AND SETTINGS
6.1.
Installing the mowing disc blades
Install the blades as shown in the diagrams in
. The blades recommended by
the machine manufacturer are size 105x49x4 and compliant with PN-EN 795:2002. The blades should
be installed so that while revolving, a cut of the grass blades is made and followed by picking up the
grass blades (the cutting edge must be at the lower position).

NOTE:
Use only the original blades from SaMASZ.
NOTE:
Before operating the mower, always inspect the blades and blade holders for
wear and damage. Damaged and worn parts are hazardous as they can be
ejected at force, resulting in severe or deadly injuries.
6.2.
Replacing the blades
If worn or damaged, each blade must be replaced with a new one as shown in
. Replace
the blades in pairs to maintain the rotational balance of the mowing disc. Carefully inspect the holders
of the replaced blades. If the blade holder is worn (
), replace both holders of the affected blade
pair with new parts. Torque the fasteners to 130 Nm (
NOTE:
While operating the mower be wary of excessive mower vibration. If present,
one or more mowing discs could be working with one of the two blades missing.
Prolonged mowing with a number of blades missing will permanently damage
the mower deck, which will not qualify for warranty repairs. Check that all blade
pairs are complete when operating the mower.
NOTE:
Before replacing the blades, stop the tractor engine and remove the ignition key.
The PIC shaft must be uncoupled from the tractor. Tilt the mowing discs square
to the mower deck.
