Before repairing the machine, secure it in a stable position and prop the machine to prevent
crushing of the operator. Do this by parking the machine on a firm ground and extend and secure the
parking foot.
Having inspected all threaded fasteners and the proper play of all pins, gears and belts, verify the
continued operating worthiness of the machine. Replace all worn bolts, pins, V-belts, pivots, bushings,
discs, blades and holders, bearings and other components.
Having repaired the machine:

Make sure that all components are installed correctly.

Reinstall all removed guards and aprons.
❑
Check that all bolts and nuts are torqued to specification.
❑
Verify the proper play of all pins and transmission units.
❑
With all guards and aprons installed in position, do a test run to verify that the performance of
the repaired machine is correct.
9.2.
End-of-life dismantling and disposal
If the mower is not worthy for continued operation, it must be disposed of. Prepare the mower for
disposal by draining all oil from the mower deck and the gearboxes. Remove all residues of oil with a
cleaner. Remove all V-belts and plastic parts from the mower and have these components disposed by
a licensed disposal contractor.
Return all metal parts for scrapping.
NOTE:
Dismantle the machine with extreme caution. The dismantling process is a
hazard of crushing, pinching, concussion or cutting. Use proper tools for the
work and PPE, including protective gloves, safety boots, protective garment,
protective glasses, etc. Note that the machine can lose stability and fall down.
Prop the machine carefully.

is approved for operation.
