since the load is not protected by the equipment when the Manual Bypass is in « BYPASS ENABLE».
The selection of « BYPASS DISABLE», it is thought to operate with the Maintenance Bypass switch
(M9) .

(***) Not all the generator groups give energy of quality. Pass to this selection when the generator is giving problems. The
equipment must be shutdown by maintaining the input mains switch to on before selecting the option generator «ENA-
BLE» or to return back to «DISABLE».

The adjustments selected from factory, can be modified, but it is advisable to make them after the installation and
before starting the loads.

10.6.- Option selection «High Efficiency ADJUSTMENT».
• The function of High Efficiency or also known as Economic mode minimizes the energy losses and therefore it reduces the
energy consumption. It is based on forcing the UPS to permanent «BYPASS MODE» operating, in such a way that transfers
the load automatically to the inverter in the event of incorrect mains « LINE MODE».
If the correction can be done directly by the inverter it will perform in «LINE MODE», otherwise if the input voltage or frequency
is out of the established range it will perform in «BATTERY MODE».
• The transfer time to «LINE MODE», is smaller than 4 milliseconds, considering the detection time included.
• The equipment comes with this disabled selection from factory.
10.7.- Option selection «FREE RUNNING».
• The UPS has the free running option enabled, because it is selected from factory. When the input frequency is out of the
established ranges, the inverter supplies a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz as it corresponds, unless the input frequency is exagger-
atedly for above or under the nominal one. Where, in this last case the
UPS will operate in «BATTERY MODE».
• When the equipment is connected to the mains, the frequency is auto-sensed to detect automatically the 50 or 60 Hz.
