Removing Pad for Cleaning
You must follow the instructions on how to remove the
harness system before you can remove the pad.
Release the Pad Tabs
To release the tab, pull
down on the pad and pull
the tab out of the carrier.
1.
Remove the Elastic Strap
Pull the elastic strap off
of the belt path guide as
shown on both sides.

Remove Pad from Top of
Shell
Unhook the pad off the tabs
at the top of the carrier.
3.
Replace child restraint pad by reversing order; Starting from
top of the child restraint, slip pad on plastic shell; insert
buckle and pull harness tightening strap through pad. Slip
pad over front of the plastic shell.
Attach all of the plastic tabs on the sides of plastic shell.
Attach both elastic straps to the belt path guide.
Rethread harness (see section C-12).
Cleaning Pad
Hand wash pad with warm sudsy water, rinse clean and air
dry. Spot clean the harness straps. Do not use bleach or
other harsh cleaners. Do not dry clean or machine wash.
Pull Buckle Through
Pad
Remove pad.

Remove Pad from the
Bottom of Carrier 4.
Do not use child restraint without the pad.
