6.1.3 START-UP WITH MODIFICATIONS MADE TO THE SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION AND THE IMAGE
SHOOTING STATION
This type of start-up means that modifications have been made to the software configuration used when the system
was shut off along with the settings for the image shooting stations; this is the case in which a change of the
mechanical format of the product to be inspected is made. The settings for the image shooting stations and sensors
should have been previously written down.
The following operations need to be carried out for each image shooting station:
- Activate the main switch on the main electrical cabinet: look at the screen to make sure the PC start-up operations
are correct and that no warning and/or error messages appear.
- Create the required configuration.
- Place a product to be inspected in front of the image shooting station.
- Operate the asynchronized capture command and make sure the image of the product being inspected is seen in
the camera window.
- Adjust the camera, lens and lighting units as required to reproduce the expected image conditions.
- Adjust the position of the presence sensor. Capture images of moving pieces using the synchronized capture
command.
- Set software configuration as required.
- Perform product learning.
- Inspect defect-free and defective products to check the efficiency of the configuration employed. Use the
"Inspection" command.
6.1.4 SHUTTING OFF THE SYSTEM
The following operations need to be carried out for each inspection application:
- Shut off the cabinet with the main switch.
- Wait for the PC to shut down (it normally takes about 5 minutes).
