7.6 Mounting the Camera
Note
The maximum payload of the crane is dependent on crane arm length
and may not exceed the limits given in Chapter 11 “Technical Data“.
Please observe the safety instructions in Chapter 4.
The Sachtler Sandwich Touch & Go

camera plate is a standard feature of the
CamCrane EFP. It enables the camera to be quickly mounted and dismounted and
allows problem-free changeover between crane and tripod. And the Sachtler sliding
plate ensures fast and easy adjustment to the camera position.

To mount the camera grab the red locking lever and pull the round locking knob
down.

Push the locking lever to the left stopper and remove the camera plate.

Fix the camera plate approximately in the camera’s center of gravity.

When the camera (plate) is remounted, it locks automatically and the locking lever
springs back into the starting position.

Secure the camera with the safety belt, which
is included in delivery. Thread the belt through
the base plate holder.

To
adjust the camera position, simply open
the clamp lever on the Sachtler sliding plate,
move the camera into the right position and
re-close the lever.
