Check MODHVOUT. For 50 Watts, this value should be approximately 100V +/- 15V. If
yes, move to next step. If not, replace the PCMOD module.
SPA MODULE
6. Check the following parameters:
•
Check the SPAOVLD LED. If this LED is illuminated, the SPA has shutdown due to
overload from a bad antenna, coaxial cable assembly, or antenna turning unit
malfunction. Find this problem first, then reset the transmitter and test again.
•
RFINP. If this value is approximately 5V, then RF is present. If this is not ok, replace the
Transmitter Controller.
•
SPA5V (5.0V +/-.5V)
If these values are not correct, replace the SPA Module.
•
PAV: This value should be close to the value of MODHVOUT.
•
PAI: This value should be approximately 2A for 50W.
If these values are correct, the problem should be fixed. If not, the problem will be RELATED TO
THE antenna or ATU.
