E 7 Service

This description is not intended to be used as a service manual. These are
guidelines for an expierenced service engineer to proceed adjustments or
exchange parts of our instrument. However, we strongly recommend that
faulty unit are sent in for repair to our factory.

Important:

Necessary servicing has to be performed by a qualified technician autho-
rized by RTW!

Important:

Incorrect removing of any parts from the unit or any modifications to the
unit cause safety hazards and negatively affect the EMI-CE conformity!

Please refer to the safety instruction in Chapters E 1.3, E 1.4 and E 6.1
before continuing.

Chapter E 7.1 describes how to open the DigitalMonitor 10500X-PLUS if the
digital input termination (see Chapter E 6.4) has to be changed.

Chapter E 7.2 describes how a damaged display unit of the DigitalMonitor
10500X-PLUS can be exchanged.
