Introduction
This addendum supplements manual number 9350-7077-300, Revision B, “CSedit Intercom Configuration Software for
ADAM and ADAM CS Intercom Systems”. It describes the DIM Tables feature which was added to CSedit.
Dim Tables Description
A Dim Table is simply a list of two or more keypanels that are located in close proximity to one another. Normally, in
this situation, feedback could occur if two or more keypanels have keys activated to communicate with a common
destination, or if one keypanel has a key activated to talk to the destination and another is receiving audio from the
destination even though it does not have a key activated (for example, the destination is talking to it). By using dim
tables, the intercom system will automatically mute, or dim, one or both keypanel speaker outputs while this situation
exists. When you configure a dim table, you can also define the amount of speaker dimming.
Setup and use dim tables as follows:
1. From the CSedit System menu, select Dim Tables.
2. A pick list of dim tables will appear. Dim tables have default names Dim 01, Dim 02 etc. You can change these
names as you configure the dim tables.
