ROYAL ENFIELD UCE ENGINE SERVICE MANUAL

Dismantling Inlet &

Exhaust Valves



Locate special tool on

the inlet valve such that

the bolt is seated on the

valve. The collar is

seated on the valve

spring retainer.



Tighten the bolt on

special tool to compress

valve spring.



Remove the valve split

collars from the spring

retainer.



Loosen special tool till

the spring is fully

expanded & the tool can

be removed.



Remove spring retainer

top valve spring & collar

bottom.



Remove valve from the

valve guide from the

inside of the cylinder

head.

NOTE:

Repeat the same process to

dismantle Exhaust Valve.
