The devices may only be used with the following gas cylinders and gas types:
- Industrial oxygen: Rothenberger disposable industrial oxygen cylinder 930 ml (35741)
- Rothenberger Industrial Maxigas 400 (Art. No. 35570)
SCOPE OF USE
The device is intended for general welding and soldering, among others, in the fields of precision
engineering, arts and crafts, model making, optics, jewellery, goldsmiths' work, motor vehicle repairs,
bending work, extrusions and dental work.
In addition to welding work, the device is also ideal for brazing. Any other use, modifications to the item or
use of gas other than those listed in this manual counts as misuse and is expressly forbidden.
- The device may only be used in accordance with this operating manual.
Any other use can impair the
device's safety features and lead to injuries.
- Oil & grease may not come in contact with the device, especially with oxygen or gas. Therefore, all
parts, hands and clothing must be kept free of oil and grease (risk of explosion!).
- Always wear oil-free and flame-retardant protective clothing.
- During welding or soldering, always wear safety goggles with the appropriate protection classes
according to EN 166.
- Be sure not to inhale any welding / soldering gases.
- After using the devices, even for short-term use, pay attention to the heat transfer of the flame (at the
welding nozzle and mixing tube) in order to avoid burns.
- Make sure that you never put the handle on a flammable surface.
