WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF A LEAK
If gas escapes from the system (smell of gas or emergence of gas bubbles during a soapy water test), close
the gas cylinder valve and take the system outdoors immediately to a well-ventilated location away from
sources of ignition where the leak can be safely detected and repaired.
Tighten all connections completely and perform a leakage test as described in the section “Checking
tightness of the joints”. Take the device outdoors before checking for leaks. Never check for leaks using a
flame; always use a soapy solution or a leak detection spray (Art. No. 65000)!
Do not use the machine if the repair is unsuccessful but rather contact our service department.

The usable solders and fluxes depend on the operating temperature. The operating temperature
is calculated from the mixing ratio, and is thus, variable.
ASSEMBLY AND PREPARATIONS FOR
COMMISSIONING
CYLINDER CONNECTION
Tools required: Open ended spanner 17mm (not included)
- Connect the oxygen hose (3 - blue) to the oxygen pressure reducer with integrated non-return valve (1)
using an open ended spanner (right-handed thread).
- Screw the oxygen cylinder (9) into the oxygen pressure reducer (1 - blue) by turning anticlockwise. To do
this, take it out of the holder (10).
- Screw the disposable gas cylinder (4) into the gas control valve (2 - orange) by turning clockwise. To do
this, take it out of the holder (10). Pay attention to easy turning, the start of the thread and the note on the
direction of the thread.
Caution:
If the cylinder is screwed in obliquely and too tight, there is a risk that the threads may be
damaged. Never use oil or grease for lubrication (danger of explosion!)
