FA ROTEX HPSU compact 308 - 02/2012
[D] - Low-cost mains connection / weather-dependent local offset value
This parameter allows for the configuration of the HPSU compact given a Low-cost mains connection / weather-dependent local
offset value.
The following setting options are available:
– [D-00]: Sets which heating elements are switched off when the off-peak signal is received from the energy supply company
(EVU). As a prerequisite, parameter [D-01] must be set to "1" or "2".

Settings [D-00] - [D-03] are only relevant if there is no interruption to the power supply for the type of off-peak
mains connection.
– [D-01]: Determination of whether the interior heat pump unit (HPSU compact) is connected to a low-cost mains connection.
0 = Normal mains connection (default setting).
1/2 = Off-peak mains connection (see enclosed installation guide).
[D-01]=1: Is at the moment when the electricity supply company sends the off-peak signal, the contact is opened
and the unit is switched to "Forced OFF". If the signal is sent again, the de-energised contact is closed and the
machine resumes operations. For this reason, it is important to activate the automatic restart function.
[D-01]=2: Is at the moment when the electricity supply company sends the off-peak signal, the contact is closed
and the unit is switched to "Forced OFF". If the signal is sent again, the de-energised contact is opened and the
machine resumes operations. For this reason, it is important to activate the automatic restart function.
– [D-03]: Adjustment value for the weather-dependent target temperature regulation around the freezing point: In the temper-
ature range around the freezing point (range "B"), defrosting of the external heat pump unit frequent. To compensate for
these downtimes, we recommend you increase the target flow temperature in this range by setting the adjustment value "A"
(see fig. 4-12).
