verify that your internet network is working. Get an IT admin to help if necessary until all
addresses in the Strawberry can be verified.
WARNING: There is a pre-established 192.168.56.1 network address. DO
NOT CHANGE THIS IN ANY WAY. This IP is used for the Strawberry to
Windows internal communications and is vital for Strawberry operations.
7. You need to configure the SAN storage to be automatically mounted to the /mh folder
when the server is booted. If the /mh folder doesn’t exist [#mkdir /mh] contact your SAN
provider to get the SAN mounted to /mh on both servers. To configure it to mount on
boot add /mh mount to fstab so Linux will mount on each boot on each server.
WARNING: Any change ie IP addresses, VM changes, need to be made to both Strawberry
servers when in a HA environment.
8. Use a Client and open REMOTE DESKTOP and connect to machine name
"STRAWBERRYSERV". [This is actually using NetBIOS the first time you connect to
the Strawberry server. Once you have setup the Strawberry IP,the IP address or
STRAWBERRYSERV can be used]
9. Log in with username=Administrator and password=Rorke1!
10. Setup the Windows 2008 R2 VM "Local Area Connection" to the IP that the site has
reserved for the "Strawberry web Application". This is the IP that the Clients will use to
connect to Strawberry. "Local Area Connection 2" is already set to .51 IP address to
communicate to the Linux OS on the Server - DON’T CHANGE IT! :) "Local Area
Connection 3" is un-configured as we intend to use that in the future.
11.
Shutdown this Strawberry Server.
We will now configure the other HA server
12. Pick the other server and open REMOTE DESKTOP and connect to machine name
"STRAWBERRYSERV". This is actually using NetBIOS until you setup the Strawberry
IP, then the IP can be used.
13. Log in with username=Administrator and password=Rorke1!
14. Setup the Windows 2008 R2 VM "Local Area Connection" to the IP that the site has

15. Using the /Strawberry/setup.aspx web page, enter your Strawberry Client IP's one per
line in the table.
16. Exit the Remote Desktop and Reboot the host Linux OS, (not the Windows) On boot up,
if your SAN is mounted to /mh directory, Strawberry will AUTOMATICALLY setup all the
