Prepare for Using This Printer

STEP 3: Removing the Retainers

Retainers are attached to the machine to protect it from vibration during transportation. When installation 
is complete, remove these retainers.

 WARNING

This work must be performed before connecting the power cord.

If the power is turned on while this work is in progress, there is a risk of injury such as hands 
or fingers getting caught.

•  Make sure to remove all the retainers. If any remain on the machine, faulty operation or breakdown may 

occur when the power is switched on.

•  Store the retainers carefully because they are needed again when transporting the machine.
•  For transportation of this machine, contact your authorized Roland DG Corp. dealer.

You can store the retainers in the locations indicated in the illustration. Use the screws previously attached 
to the retainers to attach them to the machine.
