For example, if you were syncing three VS-880s together your setup might look like this:

 

 

In this setup MIDI Machine Control allows you to control the transport functions of the slave units from the master
unit. Digital Word Clock is used to sync the timing of the three units and the Digital signal is routed through the
master VS-880 so that the audio from all three units can be mixed to DAT.
